tomat kitchen

Los Angeles, CA

TOMAT reimagines a Westchester neighborhood through the lens of healthy food, ecological richness, and community connection. Rooted in a true farm-to-table experience, the project celebrates regional flavor while weaving endemic species and thoughtful planting into the daily rhythm of the site.

Our contribution centered on the rooftop garden—conceived as an homage to Anacapa, one of the coastal Channel Islands. This concept shaped both the spatial arrangement and the planting palette, creating a landscape that feels resilient, place-based, and deeply Californian.
