CRAFT Landscape Architecture is a licensed, ecological practice rooted in Southern California native plant communities. We've been working in the Altadena foothills — and we know this landscape, its soils, its fire history, its plant communities — the way an architect knows structure.

A blank site plan is a fine starting point. We work from the site up — lot dimensions, frontage, constraints, orientation — and build the tree layer from there.

CRAFT reviews the site, applies LA County Altadena CSD requirements, and selects species appropriate to the place — native, fire-adapted, sized correctly for the conditions and setbacks.

A single-sheet Tree Placement Study: locations plotted, species confirmed, sizing noted, rationale included. Ready to drop into your permit set.
